Practical introduction to the Machinery Regulations for companies
About practical introduction to the Machinery Regulations
Course content
Get a practical introduction to the Machinery Regulations and be well prepared for the new rules that apply from January 2027. The course gives the company an overview of requirements for CE marking, risk assessment and compliance, and clarifies what the new Machinery Regulation means in practice.
The Machinery Regulations and the Machinery Directive set the framework for safety for both people and the environment. To document that the requirements are met, machines covered by the regulations must be CE marked. This places clear demands on both producers and other players in the value chain.
The course is relevant for manufacturers, importers, suppliers and other dealers of machinery and mechanical equipment. It is also suitable for companies involved in the design, procurement, sale or use of machines in Europe, as well as for companies that need to modify existing machines or production lines.
You will get a practical introduction to how the regulations are structured, and how they can be understood and applied in practice. Through discussions and assessment of concrete examples, you will learn how the requirements for CE marking and compliance can be directly translated into the company's own working day.
